Monday: Comet Run. Went fairly well, I think, except for running far too late. I've apparently figured out how to scare them again, but at the cost of making runs take too long. Still, they got the book in the end, and offed the main target, so I guess they're ahead.

Tuesday: Tarkanan: taking out a bunch of psionic goofs so we could send our psionic guys in pretending to be them to take out the army of bad guys. They were higher level than we thought, so it was a bit trickier than we'd planned, and the "must kill each one with a different one of these special weapons" bit also slowed us down some. Still, we managed in the end. And I still think psis are broken. Vigor is the grossest thing ever. (You listening, [livejournal.com profile] doma? :-)

Wednesday: Working late, and then Centauri meeting. The meeting went fine, but I've been lame about game since I sprained my idea-a-tron. Need to fix that, but probably not before next week.

Thursday: Rough day at work. Went to visit two murder defendants in jail. The really rough one was the 14 year old kid, who'd only been in about three days and hadn't been able to talk to his family yet. The other one I'd seen before, and wouldn't have been too bad, except he kept talking about how good a case he thinks he's got (on appeal), when I don't see any serious chance of him winning at all. Sigh. Then Ryuna, where we fled the evil necromancy country, taking the young girl fleeing her parents with us, and eventually wound up on blood-sucker island, fighting the giant mosquito things.

Friday: Puttered around for a while, then went to kcr's unbirthday party. Played with paper-radio for the first time, subjecting people to various musicals and sesame street music.

Saturday: Good-bye to [livejournal.com profile] ironrat, day one. A bonus Tarkanan run to take out his character (who is now the animating spirit for an army of 3,600 warforged), then dinner at CBC, then hanging out in Germany's suite.

Sunday: Went and tried the pool at the Copley Square gym. Was ok, but it's really enough less convenient than the gym at downtown crossing I wouldn't ever use it for anything but the pool. And I've clearly out of practice swimming, sigh. But I do like swimming, so maybe I'll use it sometimes. Then Good-bye to [livejournal.com profile] ironrat part two, dinner at CBC again.

And now, to bed, since I slept far too late both days this weekend and still felt tired. For the record, for anyone who cares: I'm leaving boston on Friday for the West Coast, and won't be back until Tuesday the 4th.
The weather for the last week or so has been really lovely. Someone took our hot muggy August, and replaced it with a warm, breezy, sunny season that doesn't belong in Boston at all. :-)
