Forgot one thing when I was ranting about gay-stuff the other day: A Review of Geography Club. I picked it up 'cause it was a well reviewed book about a high school kid coming out and setting up a gay-straight alliance. Which is all accurate enough, as far as it goes, but the reviews neglected to mention that it's really written for high school students, rather than for grownups. Kinda like what I imagine a Judy Blume book or something to be. (I never actually read any of them when I was a kid.) I blew through it in a day or so, and it was fun, but not really substantial. Lives 7 out of 10 days of game, 9 if you're a gay teenager.
Spent today with brilit. Watched Kill Bill, which is a brilliantly artistic movie about hyper-violence, with no other point whatsoever. Lives 9 out of 10 days of game today, but if I'd been in some other mood, could easily have died in two. Then went to his house and napped, to make up for his having woken me up too early to decide upon this plan.
