Worky Update

tirinianWork was kind of crazy this week, and will still be busy next week, which is unfortunate, 'cause I'd really like to take a personal day. My sleep schedule continues to be weirdly and suddenly shifted to a much earlier-to-bed/earlier-to-rise schedule, for reasons that baffle me. Gym happened a little, diet is so so - more salads, but more sweets, too. LARP prep continues apace.
Monday: Torino! We didn't read much of the stolen info, 'cause it's all in Urdu. But I learned Urdu. We did stop another of the Operative's messes (that she warned us about), after she got away. We have her maybe-brother and some guy who probably isn't her father? Sigh. She's so terrible.
Tuesday: Auria! Started the Campaign Season, doing quite well so far. We'll see if it continues, but if it does, we might wrap up next run.
Wednesday: Orlando, at the Lyric, with Killbot. Fortunately it wasn't a snow day. The show was... ok? It was less a play and more an acting out of scenes from the book as they were being narrated by the actors? We both came away from it going "well, that wasn't bad, but... huh?" Call it 8 days of game before being killed in a car crash.
Thursday: Warhammer! Nearly died again, but realized I had forgotten my toughness. Killed a Skavin mage, so that was good.
Friday: Dinner with ex-coworker and his family, which was fun. Although their idea of amusing pre-dinner board games is... super lame, and should be improved. :-)
Saturday: Dragon! First step in a three-part-plan was... mostly successful.
Sunday: Conflux! We begin to explore Moile. It looks like it may take longer than I expected, as we're failing to find any of the things we're actually looking for. Then Chicken and the second half of Galavant, Season 1.
