Work has been particularly slow, as my next big deadline is not until late April, but then I have a bunch of big deadlines pretty close together, so I really need to start getting ahead of the game now. We'll see how I do at that the rest of the week. The stupid time change has screwed up my sleep schedule, too, though it is nice to see the sun when I leave work. Other stuff:

Both Mondays: Nothing special, I think? Was going to go to meet [livejournal.com profile] brilit's new daughter yesterday, but then the weather was terrible, so I didn't.
Both Tuesdays: Auria! We have traveled to Adavar, my homeland, and discovered that someone is trying a *big* ritual to mess with my gods. We are quite likely too little to actually fix things completely, but we're hopefully only at step two out of four, and we do understand the mechanics of messing with gods better than most people (inherited from the previous party), and we have a slim amount of divine power that is not blocked by the Terrible Artifact of Doom, so we can hopefully be somewhat helpful here, and maybe learn enough to send the old party in to deal with what happens at step three.
Wednesday: Also nothing, I think?
Thursday: Alice in Wonderland, with the cyberneticist. Not really impressed by the movie. The plot is no better than Avatar, and the special effects aren't as good. Even Johnny Depp was less awesome than he often is. I did like the Red Queen (for all they conflated her with the Queen of Hearts), and felt kind of sorry for her, in that she was trying to rule Wonderland, where everyone else had wandered off into some slightly off-kilter-fairly-standard-fantasy-genre, instead. Her Nefarious Aide made no sense to me at all, though, and I don't really think people are going to be happier with the White Queen in her place, at least, not for very long. Call it 7 days of game before being taken down by people meta-gaming based on the character name, even though the base plot has long since been stripped from the character.
Friday-Sunday: In DC! It was a fun trip, although I mostly only saw people once each, except for the Instrumentologist and his wife, who I stayed with and watched a bunch of Firefly with. Lunch with CBF Saturday, Lunch with [livejournal.com profile] ironrat Sunday, hanging out with Sis-and-bro-in-law Sunday afternoon, cleaning boxes of stuff from storage from when I was a kid. Will likely go back down in May.

And I guess that's about it. Perhaps early to bed, and try to readjust my schedule to the new time.
