Work was medium productive. Didn't finish the thing I had hoped to finish by Friday, but my boss doesn't seem to care as long as I'm making progress, which I made.

Also:
Monday: Dinner with Germany at the new Burger place in Davis. Tried "The King" this time, which is a burger with Peanut Butter, fried banana, and bacon. Darn yummy, actually. The Patriots were losing as we left, but I hear they pulled it out in the end.
Tuesday: Auria. Bit off more than we could really chew in two different combats, and burned a bunch of fate points to get out of them again. Plan "get the hard to marry people married to each other" continues, with the support of the King, but not a lot of promise in how to get the guy to actually ask her.
Wednesday: The night off this week. Puttered about, ate too much, came home and bed early-ish.
Thursday: Arcadia GM meeting, which was fine, and then VBL briefly, which was also fine.
Friday: Went to The Savannah Disputation at Speakeasy with [livejournal.com profile] justom. It's about a missionary who shows up at the door of a couple of older Catholic sisters, trying to convert them. They ask her back to dinner with their priest, and things go from there. It was quite good, both the show and the acting, and made me think of [livejournal.com profile] mjperson when the missionary is explaining how Catholics aren't really Christians. Call it 9.5 days of game before dying to await the resurrection of the body. Particularly recommended for [livejournal.com profile] skuffle, [livejournal.com profile] ironrat if there's a production in DC, and [livejournal.com profile] desireearmfeldt. After dropped by [livejournal.com profile] laura47's new place for a while. It's a really nice place, but possibly too far from Davis for me to want to walk once the weather gets bad.
Saturday: Dragon from 1-8 or so. We finally got the Cure for the King's Poison, and can start heading home, after only 11 runs of trying. Also a party with several amusing secrets being revealed. Then to The Murder of Jefferson Douglass, the Guild Rush game. It was me, laura47, ninjamuppet's lady (who should really get her own name, but I don't have one right now), and a hoard of frosh. I had fun, abandoned several of my goals in order to run off with my love plot, and survived the ~66% death rate. I think the frosh mostly had fun too, although I only interacted with a couple of them. After that, to Reawakening for a bit, where I chatted with skuffle and [livejournal.com profile] maverickseraph and touched base with CPB and LibertarianLass and Canada, and caught up with GermanyChen since he was back in town after spending the summer in NYC. Taxied home after the T closed and got to bed far too late.
Sunday: Arcadia GM meeting from 1-6 or so. It left us where I wanted to be by now, so I think we're in decent shape. If we meet the next sign post, I'll be confident we're doing good. Then ghosted Jefferson Douglas briefly, but it was also all frosh and so there was no one I felt like following around, so to 4th WAR for a while to kill time until it was over, but eventually gave up and went home instead of going to wrap up to blurb Arcadia. Hopefully someone else did.

That does sound like something I might like to see...hm, October...though I'm kind of supposed to be starting to cancel my social life...

Y'all should invite me to your mad playgoing plans more often. :) Not that I'd necessarily be able to go, but I'm more likely to go see things if poked to join a mob than hearing about it afterwards. :)

Well, the thing I've been meaning to ask you (and [livejournal.com profile] fredrickegerman about is Sorry Wrong Number, at Speakeasy on October 5th. (It's their annual "actors sing things from parts they'd never get" fundraising review.) You in?

Yeah, it's a fund raiser, only up that Monday and Tuesday. And Tuesday's Auria, so I can't go then. :-)

Alas, I have Monday/Tuesday evening classes this term. (Also, fundraisers tend to be more expensive than I can really afford *sigh*.)

They might run it again, as they got too many apps. :-)

Germanychen? You=ridiculous

Also. NM's lady is [livejournal.com profile] sifai7 though she very very rarely posts

Also also, my place is a mere block farther than my old place. You're just getting old.

Also the frosh were 1-2 years old when you were mastered.

I've used Germanychen before. :-)

Ok, I'll try and remember that.

Yeah, and your old place was nearly too far to walk in the rain. :-)

Sigh. Crazy frosh. They get younger every year.

Yeah, we were there opening night, it's playing through Oct. 17.
You could go with DesireeArmfeldt. :-)
