Work was slow and useless, but not actually painful. Also failed to get to the gym enough, darn it. Other things:

Monday: Hmm, I need a new nickname. Let's call him The Sophisticate. He came over for a massage, and then we went to dinner at Diva.
Tuesday: Auria was canceled, so we had an emergency board game night, with me, [livejournal.com profile] mjperson, [livejournal.com profile] quillion, and [livejournal.com profile] harrock. Won Caylus, without ever building a building, which was amusing. Finally understand why [livejournal.com profile] algorithmancy thinks the build-a-building favor track is the awesomest, though. Then off to VBL for a while.
Wednesday: Last City-State run. We were all merged with our counterparts, and had to come to an agreement as to how we're going to live like that, since no one really went after the other team during the run. It was a fun run, but I think it was good it wound up at the length it did, instead of going longer. Owe [livejournal.com profile] skuffle ice cream. And now I should start thinking about scheduling Comet again.
Thursday: Not much, I think? Haircut. That might have been all.
Friday: Went to Bat Boy at MTG. It's not my favorite show, but Ole Doc was starring, so I went with CPB. It was a pretty good performance. Call it 8 days of game before bleeding out. Stopped by Tours on the way home, which was amusing.
Saturday: All day GM meeting for Arcadia. Was fairly productive, although we're still probably behind for an IAP ten-day. We're supposed to start doing weekly meetings though, now that everyone's back from the summer, so hopefully we'll catch up.
Sunday: 4th Ed. at quillion's. I think that brings my total 4th Ed. experience to three one-shots, although this one was at least 9th level instead of 1st. I should try playing a non-wizard sometime though. It was fun, but it still feels to me like a system that's trying to be World of Warcraft, rather than D&D.

4E

I worry that I am wasting my time here; you seem pretty meme-hotel-ish about 4E. Therefore, to prevent that, unless you drastically change your views on 4E, this will be the last time I say anything about 4E to you.

However, if you want, you should try to play a 4E psion. The power point mechanic reminds me very much of 3E psions, and shows that Wizards is not particularly trying to make all classes the same all the time ever.

*shrug* My opinion of 4E has not changed much since it first came out because I haven't done anything with it since it first came out.

I'm unlikely to go read about psions now, but I'll try and remember that if another game comes along.
