Ignoring the guests

Ok, there's only one guest left, but I ignored them a bunch earlier and played Starcraft. Won a 1 v. 3 comps on a board I'd never played before, woo! I did socialize some (it was
firstfrost's birthday party, with All-the-Food) earlier, but there were far too many people for me to stick around for the whole time. Otherwise, today was pretty useless, as I failed miserably to do the productive things I was supposed to do. Sigh. Work was also pretty slow this week, although there wasn't so much I actually needed to do, so that wasn't as bad.
Other things:
Tuesday: Went over to twinknj and watched an episode of Eureka, but I'm way behind. I should try to catch up, but I probably won't. At least not before this Tuesday's season finale.
Wednesday: Across the Universe, a movie-musical using Beatles' songs, with the MBA, 'nJ, and some friends of the MBA. It's a little too sixties and a little to psychedelic for me, but the beginning and the end were good. I kept feeling like I *should* like it, 'cause it's a musical with good music, but I didn't really. Then dinner with the group, where most of them geeked about really-old-computers from Back In The Day, and 'nJ and I chatted quietly with each other.
Thursday: Dinner with Germany, then hanging out at his place for a while, arguing about politics and economics.
Friday: Conflux run. We discovered that Sauron is influencing the Dwarven rings, too, and convinced the King of the Dwarves that we like to take off his ring. Have to go back in a couple of weeks and see if he's better.
Saturday: Comet run. 'al Jabar, and kind of puttery and unfocused, but not terrible.
Sunday: See above.
And with that weak and pitiful update, perhaps I will go to bed at a decent hour, and see if next week can be more productive.
