tirinianWell, I was actually pretty productive at work Tuesday-Thursday, before falling apart pretty completely on Friday, and not doing the stuff over the weekend I'd told myself I would do. Not that I'm behind much in anything my bosses will actually notice, but there's a couple of things they're not paying attention to I should really get under control, and then point out to them. Perhaps I can catch up tomorrow. Otherwise:
Tuesday: First day back. Stayed at work kind of late, was disappointed to learn that my comic book store isn't open as late on Tuesdays as it is later in the week, and came home and didn't do much once I got here.
Wednesday: Went to a bar with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
brilit and ilhander. Ate too much yummy food, drank ginger ale.
Thursday: Bought two weeks worth of comics, then went on a bar-crawl in honor ofmaverickseraph's 21st birthday. (Which was over the summer, but he was out of town.) Ate no yummy food. Didn't drink anything.
Friday: Went to Cabaret at MTG. Quite good. I particularly liked the fact that they made Cliff and Sally not a Couple, just friends who slept together. I've heard people say they didn't like the acting for Cliff as much in the first act as in the second, but I think I'm the other way around. He's quiet and not much of a presence in the first act, but I found that very appropriate for the character as being portrayed. I think a couple of the voices were tired, though (it was the third weekend of performance).
Saturday: Conflux. Long run, as we hopefully put major crimps in the plans of of two different bad guy groups we don't like. (Disabled 40 generators so they only produce electricity, they don't cast nation-wide-spells anymore, and killed 6 of the 8 surviving 100 Demons, we think permanently.) Then dinner at Uno's where I discovered I quite like their Raspberry Lime Rickey.
Sunday: BBQ attreptoplax and jaedian's place, with izmirian, merastra, mjperson, remcat, davehenry, kirisutogomen, and appropriate kids. Afterwards, went over to twinknj for a bit and caught up on some of the Eureka episodes I've missed recently.
