Week of Dinners

Work was fairly productive, until Friday, when I just hit a brick wall and got nothing done. That's two weeks in a row that have been pretty productive up front, and then died. Not sure what's up with that. Otherwise:
Monday: First run of the new, rotating-gm, star trek game. This week was
quillion's turn to run, and we had a little test-run on the Cardassian border, experimenting with mechanics for the home-brew system, mostly. But we may have founded the Maquis (it's the very beginning of DS9 in the timeline).
Tuesday: Dinner 1, with Germany, at CPK. Looked at cell-phones briefly at the little cell-phone kiosks all over the Galleria, but didn't get one yet. Leaning towards T-Mobile at the moment, though.
Wednesday: Dinner at
abce's place. I'd forgotten quite how far a walk it was, but I still made it before I'd said was the latest I'd be there. It was nice to see them, as I haven't, much, recently.
Thursday: Dinner and a movie with the MBA, who I also hadn't seen in ages. Went to Show Business at the Kendall, which was an amusing movie, but not quite as good as I'd hoped. If you're interested in Broadway, it's probably worth going to, but otherwise, I wouldn't bother. The guys who wrote Avenue Q were definitely the best part, with Rosie and Boy George in second, and the Wicked team and the Caroline or Change team not very interesting at all. Lives 7 days of game before being booted for lack of funds.
Friday: Nothing.
Saturday: Conflux! Easter happened, after several weeks of in-game planning, and several months of out-of-game planning. It seems to have managed to get Mamo healed of her insanity, but left us all crippled, at least for a while. We'll see how long that lasts. Then
aerynne's birthday party for a bit, at which I was mostly unsocial. Oh well.
Sunday: Puttering around the house a bit, followed by a Guild Camp pre-meeting, then a party at
haryios's house, then going to work to make up for doing nothing Friday.
