I still don't know how to spell...

tirinian'cause there were no tickets for the 5 o'clock show of Putnam County Spelling Bee when I went to look, only for the 1 o'clock show. Given I was looking at 2:30, this wasn't very useful.
Work was ok, but not great, this week. I was definitely in maintenance mode, rather than progress mode.
And other stuff:
Monday: Centauri writing meeting. Did a little writing. Also went to see District B13 at LSC. It'd been a while since I'd been to an LSC movie, and it's still kind of fun to be with a group of people who know what the right response is when someone yells "LSC" when the reel change is screwed up. :-) The movie was a decent action flick, if not the totally amazing thing that people had been telling me it was. Lives 7.5 days of game before getting blown up by the neutron bomb.
Tuesday: Missed the Ryuna run for a Tarkanan run. We did a little scouting and lots of sneaking around, trying to avoid getting into the giant fight, and avoided part of it, but we're going to have to deal with more than we're really set up to handle next run anyway. Ack.
Wednesday: The other Centauri meeting this week. Did some good mechanics hacking, time to do some more of that soon. Maybe I'll write a greensheet tonight before I sleep. Maybe.
Thursday: Puttering around for a while, then the Georgetown Professor dropped by for a bit and we got ice cream, then I went to bed.
Friday: Comet Run. Longer than it should have been, partly 'cause Jonathan added a bit at the front, but it was a friday, so going late's more ok, right?
Saturday: Not as busy as last saturday, but still got up early-ish, went downtown to do some work, failed to do any work but did a little stuff for centauri, got a massage, went and played Candyland (the guild game) at MIT. It was a fun game, and I got most of my plots done, and demonstrated to myself again that I'm hopeless at building partnerships, but can do fairly well at temporary allies. (I'm too impatient to sit around and talk to people for long enough to actually make them partners - I want to go off and do something else now. But I can figure out what they want to know, and make sure I tell it to them, often enough to make them willing to listen to me when I want something they might be willing to give me.) baniszew, who's from the class I still kind of think of as "the new kids" (that would be "graduated 2005", for those playing the home game), was the second oldest person at dinner. She gave me a ride home after so I didn't have to take up the offers of crash space in Senior Haus, though.
Sunday: Mostly sleeping. I did go into work for a while to try to do the stuff I didn't do yesterday, and did a tiny amount, but mostly napped. Hopefully, I'll be able to fall asleep at midnight or so without a problem.
