Failing to Work

Well, the things that had to get done got done at work, but the things that should have gotten done didn't. In better news, I cleaned my room enough to find my passport, so I can make plans to go to Australia for Xmas. On the other hand, I seem to have misplaced my flight info for CA on Wednesday, but I suppose it will turn up tomorrow.

Other stuff:
Monday: Theoretically worked late, but didn't get much done.
Tuesday: Auria! More Mad Pirate Hunting, this time versus pirates that thought they were invisible under their ghost-sheets. The mad pirates really are easier to catch than not-mad pirates, but that's probably good, since we still only really rate to take them 'cause the GM is being nice about abstracting away the non-named one's damage.
Wednesday: Also theoretically working late.
Thursday: Dinner with Germanychen, then back to EC to hang out for a while, then up to 5E to get packets/ask questions about Firewind Junction.
Friday: Played Firewind. Western with Elves and Goblins. I had fun, as the Mayor/General Store owner of the Human Town, and mostly won my plots. Much negotiating with [livejournal.com profile] desireearmfeldt, which was amusing.
Saturday: Dragon Chapter End, which was mostly "Graduation Day"-style, plus a combat that turned into a player's exit, but not the one I was expecting to be exiting, which was very confusing for a while.
Sunday: Lunch with Germany, then board games with Germany, Germanychen, Ternus, CPB, and CPB's Boy. Lost Puerto Rico badly, then snuck in a win at Settlers. I had nine Victory Points before I built a road, and was sad that I couldn't pull off the win without ever building one.

Did you do something ridiculous like upgrade both your towns, then assemble the largest army?

Yeah, two cities, largest army, and three victory point cards.
