Belated Blizzardy Birthday Briefing

Ok, it's fricking cold, and has been for a while. Except yesterday, when it was weirdly in the 50's and all the snow melted. Work last week was mostly a write-off, work this week so far has not been great, but not completely terrible. Gym has mostly been happening sufficiently, although I notice I am being more tired by less working out that I was being, so I think I didn't give myself enough rest days last week. Eating too much, so I'm not losing weight. Will try and do better. Other stuff:

Last Monday: I don't think there was much, other than being jetlagged?
Last Tuesday: New Year's Eve! Fancy dinner with housemates and other-house-mates. Really, I'm not a big fan of fancy foodie dinners and cocktails. But the company was good. Then went downtown and hid from the cold in my office until it was time for fireworks, 'cause I missed the 4th of July fireworks. Then stopped by VBL for a bit, and brought Killbot home with me to crash in the guest room until he was ok to drive to Framingham. Up way too late, which didn't help with getting over jetlag fast.
Wednesday: New Year's Day, so no work. Waffles and Bacon at other-house-mates' place, then tried to run some errands but was mostly betrayed by things being closed for NYD, then rav's at Dr. Kye's.
Thursday: Work closed early due to snow, so got to gym and did some shopping and still made it home at a semi-reasonable hour. Didn't go to ramen place with housemates, but they didn't either 'cause it was closed, they went to falafel place, which I totally would have gone to.
Friday: Work was closed due to snow, but I went in for a while anyway, 'cause I had to get ready for the meeting they had canceled, but then said we had to come in Saturday to do it then, which irritated me a bunch 'cause I had plans for Saturday. Then CPB canceled on coming over for a massage in the evening 'cause he'd fallen in the snow earlier and didn't want to go out again. Stupid snowdays messing up my plans, instead of just being a day off. Bah.
Saturday: Actual Birthday! Met Killbot for breakfast (we were supposed to go swimming, but the Z-Center pool was full of the swim-team practicing), then to work for Stupid Makeup Meeting, then to Dragon for Scary Run of Alchemist Revelations, then to Bertucci's for dinner where they brought me a free dessert 'cause it was my birthday. I'm not quite sure who arranged that, but good work.
Sunday: Birthday Party! The brunch plan was unusually small, so maybe we have to go back to Blue Room next year, but it was yummy. Then hanging out playing board games (which I won all three of (Terra Mystica, Love Letters, TransAmerica), woo! Clearly they were going easy on me for my birthday) and cake. firstfrost and I gave each other the same present, so we tried to give the spare copy to mjperson, but he wandered off without it.
Monday: Came home and crashed early.
Tuesday: Auria! Lots of fooling around with my new magic item, seeing if we can break it, and a little fooling around with X's new magic tea, and discovering it appears to be a powerful aphrodisiac/fertility drink, then crazy numbers of allies showed up to help us invade the last country we need to invade, which would be great except we didn't really invite any of them, so what's with that?
