Easter Week
Apr. 1st, 2013 10:36 pmWork got everything that was actually due done, which was a reasonable amount of stuff, and made a little progress on the thing that Needs To Be Done Soon but doesn't have an official deadline. Which isn't as much as should have gotten done, but was ok, I guess. Finished Lent successfully at the gym. (Then promptly failed to go yesterday or today, but I should get there tomorrow.) Feeling kind of off today, but I'm hoping that's a sugar hangover and it will be gone by tomorrow, rather than starting to be sick. Oh, and sounds like the marriage equality arguments went pretty well, so that's good. Hopefully they will not be the disaster I was worried about. (Well, I didn't really think DOMA would be a disaster. We might not win, but even that wouldn't be terrible. It's only the Prop. 8 case that could really be a disaster, and it sounds like they are most inclined to punt the thing, one way or another.)
Other Stuff:
Monday: Kyoki's dinner mob at Border Cafe.
Tuesday: Worked late to meet Wednesday's deadline, so missed Auria. It sounds like they did the investigation part of getting ready for a fight, so I'll get to be at the fight tomorrow.
Wednesday: Don't think there was much? Comic books and Skyrim, maybe...
Thursday: The Teacher-in-Training came over for a massage.
Friday: Also Skyrim and cleaning for Easter, I think.
Saturday: Dragon Run! We mostly decided all the plots were bad, and thwarted them mostly without incurring too much thwackback, I hope. Then the English Professor showed up and joined us for dinner, and crashed at my place for the evening, although really, he spent as much time hanging out with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mjperson (who he went to HS with) and ilhander (who he went drinking-after-dinner with), as he did with me.
Sunday: Easter! Yay hunting eggs and hanging out and too much candy! And some work in the evening, after everyone left.
Monday: Skipped out of work a little early to help out a BU-Law student with a moot court practice before his appeals court argument next month, then came home and didn't do much. It did remind me why I enjoy law, which is always a good thing. And the next project at work is actually interesting, if I can get myself working on it tomorrow. We'll see how that goes.
