Nov. 2nd, 2010

Went to DC for the Stewart/Colbert rally last weekend. It was sufficiently crowded that I mostly didn't see any of the people who were in town just for the rally, but saw the normal crop of DC folk, so that was ok. I am totally failing to get to the gym, or to get enough done at work, and need to get on both of those. I also did some other stuff:

Last Monday: Nothing, I think?
Tuesday: Auria! In which we mostly handed our plots off to people with a higher pay grade, not so much because we couldn't deal with it, but because our secret masters and the people we were fighting's secret masters are working on being allies, so we just kicked it upstairs to the secret master's to figure out a resolution to our fight.
Wednesday: Gym and buying comics, maybe?
Thursday: Nothing I remember.
Friday: Flew down to DC, went to the Instrumentologist's house, and made signs for the rally and ate pizza. Special guest stars [livejournal.com profile] algorithmancy and [livejournal.com profile] treiza on the last leg of their honeymoon.
Saturday: Rally! With Instrumentologist&Wife, friends of theirs, and [livejournal.com profile] ironrat. Then wandered off to get food with ironrat, where the English Prof. joined us briefly, then went back to ironrat's and read while he napped until my sister picked me up and took me to Bethesda for dinner and the Rocky Horror episode of Glee (which I liked a fair amount, except for the part where Will was being painfully idiotic in starting the whole thing).
Sunday: Saw RED with ironrat and Archangel. It was fun. Not deep, but nicely done action with a reasonably coherent plot (although the love interest I thought was weird). Lives 8 days of game before being terminated by the CIA for their Secret Agenda. Caught an earlier flight home, and made it back in time for end of the special bonus [livejournal.com profile] justom's-in-town Dragon party.
Monday: Conflux, in which we discovered that one of the disaster's we thought had happened last run hadn't actually happened, and got out of the mess we got into trying to fix it for a relatively small price, given the level of mess.
