Everyone else is gone week
Aug. 22nd, 2010 11:02 pmWork was sporadic. I think Monday/Thursday/Friday were respectably productive, Tuesday/Wednesday, not so much. Also slacked at the gym. Sigh.

mjperson, because he needed people to finish off his pudding before he left town for a week.
Tuesday: Went to see Scott Pilgrim. Sadly showed up late, so while there were more people there than at Inception, they were scattered all around the theater not knowing each other, and I only found them all afterward. It was not a very *good* movie, but it was a *lot* of fun, and perfectly captured the "relationships-as-video-games" feeling of the comics. Lives 9 days of game before being killed by an Evil Ex.
Wednesday: Dresden Files RPG. Continued investigating the Evil Outsider Plot to undo some Revolutionary War thing or other, and escape from their bindings. They're scarier than we are, so we would really be well advised to figure it out in the two days we've got left, so that we can throw a monkey wrench somewhere effective. Ended early-ish, I think this is the nightkelkyag came over to hang out for a while.
Thursday: Packet Handout and then VBL with special guest starmaverickseraph.
Friday: Dinner and hanging out atbrilit's place.
Saturday: Guild Game, Cloud 17. I actually enjoyed it more than I expected to. The gms ran a poor handout (and a poor wrapup), in that they let the audience be "funny" instead of getting through stuff, but they ran a decent game. And more people I knew showed up than had been at handout (although it was still light on cruft, it wasn't actually all sophomores and younger), and while it *was* overplotted for a 4 hour game, that meant I never got bored, at least. An overall perfectly satisfactory little game, although it left me more tired than I really expected it too. Bed early Saturday night, and up early Sunday.
Sunday: Day of lazing about, doing a little laundry and a little errands and a little work and a little computer games. Failed to go to Mirris' party, which I had planned to do when I saw the mail about it and then promptly forgot completely until reminded as the housemates were leaving for it today, at which point I probably *could* have still gone, but it would have meant cramming errands and laundry and work into not-very-much-time in the evening, instead of lazing about, so I failed to. Sigh. But now, early to bed again, and try to make next week more productive.
