Well, continue to mostly be doing work, but I blew it off some this weekend to do fun stuff. Which I will pay for next week, in that I'd hoped to be done with the after-hours stuff next week completely, and I'm not going to manage that now. But I expect I'll make it to Auria, and I didn't have anything else planned for next week anyway.

Nothing fun during the week this week, but on the weekend:
Friday: Went to City of Angels, at the Cambridge Y by the Longwood Players, with [livejournal.com profile] desireearmfeldt and [livejournal.com profile] fredrickegerman and CPB. I was not as happy with it as I expected to be. I have in the past quite liked the show, and can't point to anything major this version did wrong (I think Stone was a little off - not quite hard-boiled enough, the orchestra was a little too loud, they had some set problems), and I quite liked several of the actors (Oolie/Donna, Bobbi/Gabby, and Irwin/Buddy all impressed me, and Stein grew on me), but over all, it just didn't feel quite there. Maybe I was just tired and grumpy or something, hard to say. Still, I'm only giving it seven days out of ten before getting shot in the back by the Dame you were tying to help.
Saturday: Work in the afternoon, which my boss showed up for, and it was productive, but not on the thing I was planning to work on, on preparing for the hearing he has on Friday. Which is admittedly four days before the new deadline for the big thing, but argh. At least he does seem to have figured out that I'm putting in a bunch of time on the big thing and he's ignoring it, and he's starting to think he should actually pay some attention to it, which is good. In the evening, Evil Dead at MTG, with [livejournal.com profile] laura47, which I quite enjoyed. It's a goofy show, but they do it really well. Featuring the MBA, and Ole Doc on spotlight (?), and choreography by mardigrasboi. I'm glad we asked not to be in the splatter zone, though. Lives 9 days of game before getting KILLED BY EVIL DEAD!
Sunday: Did a little work from home in the morning (mostly reading), then the guild meeting, which was tiny and underpopulated, then work at work for a while, then [livejournal.com profile] harrock's birthday lasagna party.
