What did I do this week?
Nov. 20th, 2006 12:17 amIt feels like the week was slow. It was definitely slow at work. And yet, I am not particularly better rested than at the end of the busy weeks. Why is that? Sigh.
Monday: Uhm. Nothing I can think of. I might have written some stuff for Centauri, I did that sometime this week.
Tuesday: Tarkanan run. We took an ambush by a bunch of invisible jerks, and managed to survive it, earning ALL THE LOOTS. Still, it was one of the scarier combats recently, possibly worse than the fights with the dragons. (We were more scared of the dragons, but we knew they were coming, so we prepped more - this one just jumped us, and we started going down...)
Wednesday: Bonus Ryuna Run, moved from Tuesday. We fled the goblin tunnels to find the dwarves, and managed to recruit the one we were looking for to come back to our continent with us when the Elf Chick who was hanging out with them conveniently betrayed them, stole some plot widget, and fled back to our continent. Not our fault at all, it's the will of the Gods, or the Plot. :-)
Thursday: Centauri meeting. Moderately productive. We are starting to get down to the wire, though, so I should start writing more. If only to make Germany happy.
Friday: Got drafted into going to see Cloud Nine with
justom and his Ensemble mob. It was pretty good. Slightly dated, and I'm not a huge fan of the 70's-ish style that the second act was in, but worth seeing. Justom asked me afterwards whether it was a show
ironrat should see, since the first half is all Victorian-England-esque (in the colonies, somewhere in Africa), and the answer is either definitely yes, or definitely no, but I'm not sure which.
Saturday: Conflux Run! Everyone else went into the Matrix, while I stayed outside to deal with Cypher's Sudden Yet Inevitable Betrayal. I didn't deal with it quite as well as I would have liked, as the Vampires distracted me long enough that he managed to drop Dozer, Apok, and Switch, but we kept Mouse alive, cut a deal with the Vampires not to kill the rest of us, and got out of the Matrix with the information we went in for, and a file telling us what the damn Agents are up to, which I've been wondering about for ever and ever. The Answer? They're Bad, and Must Go. Then Dinner at Uno's, followed by Wiz War at twinknj. I like Wiz War. Especially when I win. :-)
Sunday: Lounged about for a while, then went to work, and failed to do much work, but eventually finished the stuff I should have done Friday but was goofing off done, and left it on my boss' chair for her to find in the morning.
Need to figure out Xmas plans soon. California folks, when are you going to be around? :-)
