A day late and a dollar short
Apr. 25th, 2006 01:14 amWell, I was going to try to do this in blank verse for Shakespeare's birthday, but that's too hard, so the short version:
Monday: goofing off.
Tuesday: Dr.
mjperson's congratulatory dinner! Who knew his advisor was a pirate?
Wednesday-Thursday-Friday: a vast blur of I-don't-know-what-I-did. Wow, I suck. Oh, Friday was poker night. I won Puerto Rico, for the first time in ages. I think I play it better when it's a smaller game.
Saturday: Oath run! Agent Morden getting bigger and scarier, but we know how to stop him for good, we think, so hopefully we won't have to deal with him much longer.
Sunday: Gay Swan Lake, at the Colonial. Quite good, actually. I wasn't expecting to enjoy a ballet, but I did. And not even for the shirtless guys, although they didn't hurt. I did find the plot a little mystifying, though, particularly what the bad guy was actually trying to achieve. Lives 9.5 days of game before dying of cancer.
Monday: Stayed home to try to deal with the "vast-blur-of-I-don't-know-what-I-did" problem. A day to decompress helped some, but I don't think it actually fixed whatever's been leaving me feeling rundown completely.
