Busy Busy Busy
May. 5th, 2005 12:20 amI'm not going back before Friday, 'cause I forget what happened that long ago.
And I'm not reviewing anything, although I'll try to do some reviews tomorrow, if Talarin really ends early.
Friday was the evening of mad-social-butterfly-ing. Started with Drinks-with-work at 4 for Secretary's Day ("Administrative Professional's Day"). Skipped out on that early (~5) to go to Roast. harrock's birthday dinner. It was at the terrible-place-everyone-else-mysteriously-likes, so I wasn't too unhappy to just get a couple of appetizers and then skip out again at 8, so I could make gotspit's final chorallaries concert at 8:30. That ended ~10:30, and I went back to Roast until 3 or so.
Saturday, I slept late, went to Feast, went to work, and feel like I did something else after work, but heck if I can remember what.
Sunday, I slept late again, forgot to go to a vatican meeting, met up with Harwin, went to Hitchhiker's movie with him, came home, went over to twinknj and watched 6' Under and chatted about Conflux.
And that was my nice, relaxed, unscheduled weekend, to prep me for the terrible-weekends-that-are-to-come. Oh, and the Teacher and the [CLASSIFIED] Scientist were visting for the weekend, too, though I didn't see them so much.
Monday was fine, I got to sleep in a bit, go to the dentist, and then go to work and putter with finishing a few things to clear my plate for the big project that's coming before working on a Vatican sheet for a while. Then my bosses gave me more to do. Sigh. Made it to the Vatican meeting anyway, and then home.
Tuesday I went to work and did the new stuff my bosses had given me, and then went to Tarkanan. Today I went to work, discovered my bosses weren't there to give the old work too, but they'd given me more new work, did some of that, finally got started on the big project. Then went to Little Shop of Horrors withjustom before coming home to play Puerto Rico with harrock and visage and a couple more, who probably have lj names but I forget them. And now I'm going to sleep.
