Trial started today. I'd forgotten how cheap the cafeteria in the courthouse is. For breakfast (well, more like brunch), I got a cheese omelette, two slices of french toast, two slices of regular toast, and a side of bacon, for ~$3.30. It's nothing special in terms of quality, it's just a grill, but it's certainly reasonable, and practically free.

Saw a taxi with a LED display on its roof where they normally have ads, showing the score from some baseball game, with an "ESPN" sign. Kinda scary.

MBTA betrayed me twice today, "disabled trains." I think they're trying to get back at me for (helping) sue them.

Trial's are all about hurry-up-and-wait. I spent an hour this afternoon just sitting around waiting for people to finish empanelling the jury, got back to the office after five, and got assigned homework to get ready for tomorrow morning. Sigh. I hate not being able to schedule my time.
