Early Sunday Update!

tirinianWell, it was a cranky week for me. I'm not sure why, but I was definitely in a bad-ish mood from Wednesday on (for whatever value of bad mood I hit, which isn't really very bad, most of the time). I think it's because I spent Wednesday through Friday pretty busy at work (not quite totally flat out, but pretty busy), but it was all on brand-new-stuff, so none of the stuff that's been hanging around on my "yeah, I should get that out of the way soon" list even got touched. Bosses are both out of town Tuesday-Thursday this week, though (they're in Ohio for a case), so I'll either have an easy week and a chance to pick off some of that stuff, or my week will suck again. We'll see.
The week was also darn light on not-work-stuff. Monday, Tuesday, just came home and puttered. Wednesday was going to be hanging out with 'nJ, but I had to cancel 'cause I was working late. Thursday I came home and was sufficiently puttered out that I actually watched some TV, the first two episodes of season 4 of 6FU. (I'd watched the first episode months ago, but figured I'd see it again to get me back into the show.) Things picked up for the weekend, which was ok, although really, I could use a weekend day off sometime soon to play catchup with not-work stuff. (Or at least a day when I don't have to actually set an alarm to get up. Maybe that's more what I want, really.)
Friday: Germany's birthday dinner at Fire and Ice. I was late-ish due to work, but managed to be there before they were seated. I did give up early, though, leaving before most people were done and going home to putter instead of going to Germany's room for hanging out afterwards.
Saturday: Ryuna in the afternoon, which went reasonably well, with a little puttering in the dungeon of doom without getting killed, and then going and starting the big arc plot bit, and winning at OgreBall in a fairly satisfying way. marcusmarcusrc's play, which was interesting, but a bit too much of a period piece for me. Lives 7 of 10 days of game before being "killed" and coming back as someone else.
Sunday: Brunch withbrilit's mob at the Blue Room, which was yummy as always, then off to the guild meeting, where they somehow foolishly elected me Scribe, then back home (instead of to work, which I'd vaguely intended), where kelkyag showed up to play games (well, a game of Fearsome Floors) with me and harrock.
