Well, I'd vote for one of them, and against the other. Kinda makes me wish that you could spend money to remove money from someone's campaign chest. Perhaps it it were all held by a trusted third party, and if you contribute $1 against the candidate than your dollar and one of theirs would both get used for charity or the budget of the level of government that they are running for.

This would make big campaigns able to completely torpedo little campaigns, though. If I have five times the money you do, it's totally in my interest to spend 1/5 of it taking you down to no money at all.

Maybe you can only do it as private indivdual, and larger legal entity can't, like corporations or campaigns.

That sounds like some mad libertarian scheme. Just skip the elections altogether, auction off all offices, and use the proceeds to fund the government...
