Which about sums up my take on current events:
"that said, since I *do* think Saddam's a dictator with nothing worthwhile to be
said about him, I don't actually object to going to war to get rid of him, in
theory. I think in practice, Bush has burnt a pile of resources on it, far
beyond the threat level warrants, and is therefor trying to make Saddam out
to be the next Hitler to justify all the time and expense he's devoted to the problem."
